The Best Way to Conquer Beautiful Healthy Skin

It cannot be denied that people want to have healthy, glowing skin, but they don’t know where to start. Back then I was in the same position, wondering what to do to get rid of the unsightly marks on my face. I realized that I needed to make a couple of changes in my life.

As it turns out, skin management (墨尔本皮肤管理) only takes a couple of steps to accomplish. It doesn’t take setting aside a large chunk of time to follow over a dozen steps. You just need to follow these simple steps and you’ll have clear skin in no time.

A Few Lifestyle Changes

The first and probably the most important tip I can give you is to get enough rest. Set aside some time to get at least seven or eight hours of sleep every night, and your skin will thank you for it.

I forced myself to finish my work early so I can get enough shuteye. When the work couldn’t get done, I resolved to get back to it immediately upon waking up just as long as I can get enough sleep. Not only did I cut down on procrastination, I also got clearer skin.

Regular exercise has also helped me improve my skin health. Burning calories hasn’t only helped me shed the extra pounds, but has also helped deliver oxygen and other important nutrients to my skin.

You don’t have to sign up for a gym membership to get the best results. I have found that even just breaking a sweat doing the daily chores will be enough for you to see the difference.

I also started drinking more water. Every day, I try my best to take in at least eight glasses of water every day. If possible, I try to drink more. Just like exercise, drinking enough water helps deliver more nutrients to the skin, making it appear healthier.

I also try to eat more citrus now too, so lemon water might be a good idea. Citrus contains a lot of nutrients, especially vitamin C, which help prevent wrinkles. Some people also recommend a having wine in moderation because it is rich in antioxidants, which help fight free radicals.

A Lot Less Products, A Lot Healthier Skin

The next few changes I made in my skincare routine involved the products I used as well as how I applied them. I started wearing sunscreen every morning to protect my skin from the harmful effects of too much exposure to the sun.

I even wore it on days I didn’t go outside. I also began using pore strips to remove blackheads and dirt, especially around the nose area.

In terms of how I put products on, I now apply them in a circular motion to encourage blood circulation for better absorption. I used this method for my facial wash, moisturizer and sunscreen. I also started to exfoliate my skin with a beaded scrub.

However, I only use this product twice a week so my skin doesn’t get irritated. I have also found cooling wipes, like the ones with cucumber extracts, to be extremely helpful when my skin needs a boost when I am on the go.

Once I felt more confident in my own skin, I also began lessening my use of makeup. If you do need to put some makeup on, keep it simple. Just a little blush and highlighter would do. Using too much makeup could actually be harmful to your skin in the long run. I also simplified my beauty regimen by removing unnecessary steps. Not only do I get finished quicker, my pores also don’t get overwhelmed by the amount of products I use.

8 Healthful Benefits of Facial Treatments

More and more people are getting facial treatments as part of their regular beauty and skin rejuvenation regimen. And if you think that it is clearly a girl thing, there has been a growing trend of men seeking facial treatment for themselves. No longer are facials an exclusive womanly affair, it has transcended gender boundaries that everyone now benefits from a well-conceived facial skin rejuvenation plan.

But how does facial treatment work its magic that even stone-faced men of the biker gang type have begun flocking towards spas and other health and wellness clinics for that life-changing facial? Here are some of the well-known benefits of facial treatments.

1. Cleanses the Skin

The skin of the face is one of the dirtiest parts of the body. It is one of a few parts of the body that is constantly exposed to dust and dirt including pollution and toxic chemicals. Not to mention the makeup and other chemicals that women put on their faces can all create a chemical and biological hodge-podge that can only be rivaled by the muddy terrain of a rain-drenched Amazon forest basin. Facial treatments effectively remove these dirt and dust so the skin can breathe again.

2. Moisturizes the Skin

The human skin is very susceptible to dehydration especially if you are going to stay under the sun without adequate protection. Sometimes, even if you were in the shade, other forms of heat transfers can effectively draw out moisture from the skin’s cells leading to dehydration. This leads to the appearance of fine lines and even wrinkles. Getting a facial treatment replenishes the moisture lost in the everyday grind while at the same time locking in the moisture inside the different cells of the skin.

3. Improves Superficial Circulation

Did you know that underneath the skin is a network of very small blood vessels that serve to bring much needed nutrients and oxygen to the different cells of the skin? Also part of this network of blood vessels are lymphatic organs that serve to move toxins away from the skin and for elimination through the body’s excretory organs namely the kidneys and the digestive tract. The massaging motion involved in many facial spa treatment regimens are known to improve the circulation of both blood and lymph thereby aiding in the maintenance of healthier cells and tissues.

4. Reverses Many of the Visible Signs of Aging

Many spa treatments utilize a variety of essential oils that are largely known to have antioxidant properties. One of the most sought after skin rejuvenation treatments, Retinol, is a well-known antioxidant that has been largely attributed for its age-reversal properties. While technically it does not reverse the aging process in a way that you will feel and look young again, it does mitigates the harmful effects of oxidative stress leading to a better functioning cellular and tissue states. These lead to a reduction in some of the visible signs of aging such as age spots, wrinkles, and fine lines.

5. Enhances the Tone and Texture of the Skin

A sagging skin doesn’t necessarily look good especially if you are someone who is largely dependent on the tonicity of your skin to earn a living. That is why there are a lot of individuals who request neuromodulator injections like Botox to help them firm up their skin; albeit often with disastrous consequences. Facial spa treatments exercise the different cells and tissues of the face so they retain their elasticity and their tonicity. This allows them to firm up naturally.

6. Alleviates Skin Sensitivity and Redness
There are certain individuals who have naturally sensitive skin. Sometimes, this is one reason why they don’t want to seek facials simply because they fear that it will only exacerbate their conditions. The good news is that, when done correctly, the facial might as well be the treatment that they are looking for as different mild ingredients can be used to help mitigate skin sensitivity reactions.

7. Reduces Skin Breakouts and Blemishes

Acnes and other inflammatory skin conditions are often attributed to clogged skin pores. Cleansing the face and then toning it up with essential oils can help manage skin breakouts and other dermatological issues. You clearly don’t have to live with acnes all your life. Having it seen by someone who knows how to put the treatment in a facial might as well save you from expensive anti-acne medications.

8. Reduces Wrinkles and Fine Lines

Akin to the antioxidant properties of many essential oils used in a variety of facial spa treatments, wouldn’t you be glad to know that not only will you have a fairer and much healthier skin after the facial, you will also feel and look naturally younger as well?

More and more people are finding all the right reasons to get a facial treatment. How about you? Which of these benefits do you think best exemplifies your reason for seeking a facial?
